Situated in the heart of Beamish in the North East, this bespoke new build project aimed to incorporate the heritage of this beautiful area, maintaining a connection to the past while developing a home fit for the future.
From the outset, HerringtonGate was closely involved, lending our expertise to the planning stage, advising on layout, exterior and interior design, and creating visualizations. Our design brief was to help the client create a family home that would exude timeless charm and character.
On the exterior of the property, stone mullioned windows were meticulously crafted to echo the region's architectural heritage. Complementing these were two oak mullioned windows, including a striking cantilevered design above the front door which seamlessly integrated with the first-floor study.
This project wasn’t just about stone mullion windows, by its design completion, there was a virtual symphony of bespoke elements and furniture created to complement and enhance every living space.
A French-inspired country kitchen served as the heart of the home, while a double-sided inglenook fireplace in the main entrance and dining room added warmth and grandeur. Every detail, from the architectural features to the bespoke furnishings, was carefully considered as we worked closely with the client, helping design their vision of an elegant and sophisticated home.
